In todays video we are having a quick look at the latest Home Assistant Tag reader by Adonno. It's a tidy little device that allows you to read and write NFC tags in Home Assistant which can be used to trigger automations and other events.
This is the Sandwich edition of the tag reader. Its designed with Home Assistant and ESPHome in mind. We are looking at a pre assembled unit which you are able to purchase. If you prefer the DIY route Adonno has also created all of the instructions for you to create your own tag reader.
I have personally been using this reader as an NFC media controller for my kids.
