DJCU2 will be a paid upgrade. Since it includes most of my apps, the price will be slightly higher than the current DJCU2 price. But still well below the combined price of purchasing all the apps separately.

Target release date October 2026.

Pricing has not been finalized yet, but the goal is to keep it below €50. As always, there will be no subscription (priced to own), no data collection or monetization of user data, and no cloud-based nonsense.

Customers who purchased either DJCU or DeCU on or after January 1, 2025, will only need to pay the difference between what they originally paid and the final price of DJCU2. In other words, buying a license to join the beta now won't cost you anything extra. And if you provide actionable feedback during the beta, you'll receive the upgrade to DJCU2 free of charge.

The original DJCU and DeCU will remain available for users who need to convert on older macOS versions (DJCU2 requires macOS Big Sur or later) or who still use older DJ software such as Rekordbox 3, 4, or 5. Or for those who don't need the new features.

However, the original codebase will no longer be actively maintained. After 14 years on the market, it has reached a very stable state, and most bugs have already been identified and resolved. No new features will be added, and if future updates to DJ software introduce changes that break compatibility, those issues will not be addressed.
