Lake Tahoe hiking at its finest! If you're visiting Lake Tahoe and looking for the perfect hike while there, the Lake Aloha hike in the Desolation Wilderness is it. Hiking here was the perfect reminder of just why we love California hiking so dearly. The hiking route we took is a short drive from Lake Tahoe and offers stunning views of Lake Aloha, Echo Lake, Tamarak Lake, and the surrounding Crystal range traverse.
