Okiii, firstly thank you for 600!! ;;0;; that is super cool and amazing and I'm so blown away by all the support asdflkj!! I really can't express how grateful I am! Thank you so so much!! 💕
Also I'm being unnaturally active on this channel, lol, I'm not usually :0 I guess I'm just speedrunning a bunch of parts at once it seems, lol :''D
I was backup (again, lol) and got this part a little over a week ago haha, so speedrun yes :'')
Now about the part!! It's for an experimental map, whose main rule was that you can't use digital art or animation (or at least, traditionally digital stuff? That sounds like an oxymoron, lol) - the only digital stuff should just be editing and whatnot. So you could do traditional art, animation, stop motion, photography, all that jazz!! It's really cool, we're almost done with the map and everyone's parts are so neat and awesome! OoO 💖
So for my part, everything you see is watercolor painting! I hand-painted all my assets on mixed-media paper~ The only digital is the editing, tweening, a a few touch-ups (my scanner has dust particles in it, lol), and a very light yellow overlay on the first background (which is a scanned in piece of plain white paper), and a slight dark overlay on the background of the last shot, to help Melonheart stand out just a tad more. But yeah! That's it! :D
Sorry about the sketches being so light, haha. I know they're hard to see D: I needed to make it so that it wouldn't be too present in the end result!
It's a little rough because I did indeed speedrun it, but I hope you like it anyway~ uwu
For context, the little sheep bab is Melonheart! The lovely deer-ish lady is Queen Wisteria. That big ol' monster thing is... eh... spoilers, lol. I'm so happy I got to include Melon in a map part, finally XwX Also it's Queen Wisteria's first public appearance, haha~ ❤
