Our M+ meta comp started with some of the strongest specs in the current Mythic Plus meta: Brewmaster Monk, Restoration Druid, Frost Mage, Unholy Death Knight and Demonology Warlock. On paper, this looked like one of the best M+ comps for 12.0.5. Strong utility, curse dispels, survivability tools, group synergy and meta damage profiles made this comp look incredibly powerful for pushing high Mythic Plus keys in WoW Midnight.

But as we kept pushing keys, things started getting a lot more complicated. Frost Mage survivability issues became increasingly noticeable, defensive gaps started showing up in difficult dungeons and the reality of playing meta specs became very different from simply looking at tier lists or Raider.IO rankings.
