I just got my hands on the GoPro Hero 9 and these are my true, heartfelt feelings about the camera, media mod, and light mod.

I have been shooting a lot of photos with my Canon EOS R6, and I was considering a way to get more behind the scenes footage without buying another expensive camera. After reading a lot of reviews, and watching videos about the HERO 9, I decided to roll the dice and pick one up. I was nervous about the quality of the sound recording from the Media Mod microphone, and if the Lighting Mod, LED Light would actually light someone up enough to be useable.
Once I got my hands on the camera I immediately got it all set up, and took to the streets of Los Angeles on my bicycle to test it out. I gotta admit, I was really impressed with the quality of the image on the GoPro Hero 9, and found the sound quality from the Microphone on the Media Mod to be pretty exceptional. I definitely think this camera is a strong contender for a VLOG camera.
I filmed this video with the Canon EOS R6 and the Go Pro Hero 9. I shot in 5k and 4k. For the best results, view the 2160p version.
