Life at sea can be tough... some say it's like going to prison with the threat of drowning.

When sailors port in Galveston, Texas, they have access to the Galveston Seafarer's Center — their only post office, source of free internet, and hub for exercise, games, books, and grocery store runs. This maritime nonprofit fills a gap that folks on land may take for granted.

At the Galveston Seafarer's Center, you'll find Jeff: a Catholic Port Chaplain whose job is to serve and love. He extends this to cargo ship crews from around the world, meeting them wherever they are to only extend peace.

Jeff doesn't preach the gospel — he enacts it.
