I discuss be a person who is officially diagnosed as Autistic with ADHD. I was diagnosed relatively late in my life at the age of 39 after doing research for my 2 year old son at the time who is also diagnosed Autistic. I discuss what Autism is for someone who is Autistic and also cares for a child who is Autistic. I go into depth of what ADHD actually is and how it exists with Autism. Although this video is long, as I was editing it I realized I left a lot of things out. There is so much to talk about with regards to this, with the complexities and lived experiences, but hopefully I gave a bit more clarity.
