In this video, I tried drinking alkaline water for one week and attempted to uncover the truth about this health trend. Living in LA, I see alkaline water shops all over town. I've always been skeptical of alkaline water and questioned its validity.

- Is alkaline water actually better for you than regular water?
- Are any of the health claims about alkaline water actually true?
- Is there any science and research to back up this trend at all?
I needed to get to the bottom of the alkaline water trend once and for all. So that's what I attempted to do in this video... and it was far more complex than I thought!
What I discovered is that alkaline water really has no research to support it and that manufactured alkaline water is definitely not worth the money. However, I did discover that drinking a naturally occurring, mineral-rich alkaline water could have some real benefits.
For this reason, I chose to drink Rising Springs for my alkaline water experiment.
After just a week of trying Rising Springs, I couldn't notice any difference. So I plan to keep drinking alkaline water for longer to see what happens.
