Jester's mask finally slips, after holding it together for so long - trying to keep it together for Bloom's sake. They haven't talked much since everything went down in Season 1 - to be fair neither of them have really been in a good state of mind for it - but now Bloom's frustration with his silence has reached a breaking point.

And the truth comes out.

So yeah, Bloom is Doom, and Wither is Jester. Except not. AU time woo!
This has been the idea ever since Doom and Jester came into existence, and I tried hinting at it throughout Season 1, but I'm not sure how obvious it was?

I wasn't trying to hide it lmao, just like he wasn't.
He just kind of assumed that, because his version of Jerram was obsessed with other worlds that this world's Jerram was. Oops.

Well, it's out in the open now! :)))
There's so much more to say about all this, but I think I've rambled long enough for the moment. Just know it's all up from here for this arc 😊
