** Update in pinned comment.
On this PC Archeology episode, we have what I thought might just be a run-of-the-mill IBM PC XT clone but it turns out this machine is unusual and odd, and looking inside creates more questions than answers.

![How to image and create disks for retro computers
Its fun to work with old retro computers, but whats not always fun is trying to make disks for them so you can actually use them. This video is a guide to cover making FM and MFM disks using a PC. Many old computers use this format of floppy disk and if you have one, this video is for you.
This video isnt for you if you are trying to make disks for the Apple II, Commodore PET/VIC-20/64, Amiga or Mac (800k disks.)

For the C64/VIC-20/C128 I recommend a SDIEC: (lots of options here, search around a bit)

Im always amazed at how resilient old computers can be. Even if theyre left outside in the field for 20 years, sometimes they can still work. What about four barn found Apple IIc computers? Could these left for dead machines still work?

The Macintosh Centris 610 is a humble machine that was in the mid-range of Apple Macintosh computers when it was released in 1993. With only a few dollars in parts (or free if you have them lying around) you can improve this computers performance by a whopping 42%.

I love a good mystery, and this little thing piqued my interest when I saw it. Lets try to figure out what this is, what it might have been used for and see if I can get it working.

I picked up this $18 oscilloscope the other day because I was curious how good something this cheap can actually be. For me, the ultimate test to see if something is useful is to try to fix a broken 8-bit computer with it... so lets do exactly that!

![What is this rare multi-user UNIX workstation? (Plexus P/20)
What we have on the bench is a Plexus P/20 dual processor multi-user UNIX computer from 1985. This was likely designed for office user and support 8 concurrent users in this configuration, with up to 16 possible with the use of an extra I/O processor card. This machine doesnt seem to be documented anywhere other than a simple brochure (link below) so lets see if we can unravel some of the mysteries of this machine.
