The tremoloa is a fascinating instrument deeply unlike any other. It's a fretless zither with a crazy contraption that simultaneously adjusts the note, plucks it and produces a tremulous effect. In music parlance, this is really technically a vibrato. Maybe it should be called the VIBRATOA! But the world at large colloquially refers to wide warbles like this as a tremolo, so we'll give 'em a pass.
