Since I’m struggling to think of what to do next I thought I would re-record some of the earlier songs recorded with an old clattering cheap camera.. now that the web cam has improved marginally it now seems that it was me that was clattering.. ‘The trees they grow high’ was one of the first songs I learnt and recorded courtesy of my friend Andrew who not only taught me this song but also showed me the chord of Em.. the bedrock of the tune.. just as a secondary note, the last time I recorded a set of songs in DAGAD, I promptly buggered off to Mandalay (as in the road to..) and never got chance to thank everyone for their kind words comments.. so Thank You ! When I can work out how to reply, and not in the third person like some doppelganger (thanks google), I will .. in the mean time I’m buggering off again to New Zealand.. so anyone going to the Auckland Folk Festival.. well say hello..
