This was a LONG time coming, I apologize for the wait. I wanted to be honest, and not miss anything when it comes to my favorite Antagonist of Xenoblade 2, Praetor Amalthus. I feel Amalthus is a character that is often undervalued or even disrespected when it comes to people's rating or discussion of the villains of Xenoblade Chronicles 2, which always confused me as I always felt he was the strongest of the main 3. In this video we discuss his journey, connections to specific people, the ever-present struggle in wanting to do what's right, whatever it may mean whether from need or want, how hard it is to maintain faith in any direction when living so long, how he's just as relatable to the heroes as he is the villains, and how it all feeds into a constant theme of Xenoblade 2, and the Xenoblade Series as a whole
Took longer and came out bigger than expected, wasn't always sure how to approach my big want to cover this incredible character but I was sure I didn't want to regret missing anything, even if I feel there's always more I could possibly say down the line. Have fun, hope you all enjoy nonetheless!
