I had hoped to capture the line of darkness approaching across the ground, but we clouded over immediately before totality. However, by fluke, you can actually see the huge disk of the umbra totality in the clouds! This video is speeded up 5x.
BTW, I put the drone up, started it recording, then enjoyed the eclipse from the ground, ready to deal with the drone if necessary, but otherwise just let it sit up there. Camera was on auto, with no ND filter.
And the thumbnail is a partial eclipse of a cookie.....hey, it was a party!
