WatchMojo just posted a video called "10 YouTubers Who Made Videos When They Knew They Were Dying" and it was fully monetized with ads, including an ad for their own AI music channel, SoundMojo. People are calling this out as disrespectful and exploitative, and WatchMojo's responses in the comments have been pretty aggressive toward their own viewers. WatchMojo uploaded a video listing YouTubers who made content while knowing they were dying, and the whole thing has turned into a massive controversy... the video was monetized, which already upset a lot of people, but what made it even worse was that WatchMojo inserted a mid-roll ad in the middle of the video promoting SoundMojo, their own AI music channel. People were quick to point out how wrong it feels to run AI slop ads over a video about YouTubers who passed away. What really got people talking was how WatchMojo responded in the comments. They were snide and dismissive toward their own viewers and criticism which was really crazy to see. They did however correct some of this later, so lets go over it all in this video!!
