The beginning of every project is a special moment. An opportunity to set the tone for what it is you want to share with this world. In this preface to the "Timber's Treehouse Camp" build I wanted to set the tone that this series is not just about building, but about family, campfire cooking, taking time to enjoy and embrace nature and having a little fun while we learn how to live sustainably within a wilderness environment.
During this series, I hope to share interesting tips and techniques in bushcraft, construction, architectural design, foraging, and campfire cooking.

This wool is expensive, no doubt, but it's incredible and seriously makes us spend more time in the wilderness knowing we'll be dry and comfortable. It takes a beating. Been wearing it as work clothing for almost two years and it still, all looks and feels great.
