The Tikis were a Santa Cruz quartet consisting of Eddie James, Dick Scoppettone, Ted Templeman and Dick Yount. They signed to the San Francisco based Autumn label in 1965 where they recorded a number of songs, only 4 of which were released on singles in 1965 before the label folded. Several unreleased songs from their time at Autumn were remixed into stereo and released on the Big Beat Compilation: Dance With me: The Autumn Teen Sound. This is one of those songs strangely not seen fit for release at the time. No wonder Autumn went under.

Of course, several years later with the addition of drummer John Petersen and a change to Warner Brothers Records, the Tikis gave up their folksy beat image and became Harpers Bizarre to much commercial success.

This track was written by all 4 original members.
