A long time ago on a faithful May 2007, we were graced with three theatrical threequels: Shrek the Third, Spider-Man 3 and Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At World's End. This was an unprecedented trio of threequels that amassed insane amounts of hype- these three films would provide epic conclusions and send offs for these beloved franchises...
...until they all sucked.
Let's revisit these three threequels and see if they truly are disappointing after all these years.
