Robert M Ellis’s new book ‘The Thought of Sangharakshita: A Critical Evaluation’, was published by Equinox in July 2020. It is the first ever attempt at a balanced critical evaluation of the creative but controversial founder of the Triratna Buddhist Community. In this virtual book launch on 12th July 2020, Robert gave a talk about the reasons such a book is needed, and an outline of some of the key pros and cons of Sangharakshita's thinking, judged from the long-term practical standpoint of the Middle Way. The talk was followed by questions from the audience.

'The Thought of Sangharakshita' can be purchased from Equinox's website at equinoxpub.com/home/thought-sangharakshita/, or from other major book retailers.
