Here are the ways that AI was used in the creation of this video. I believe that it is important to divulge AI usage so that people can make informed decisions about it.
1. I used AI to seek out "pithy but verifiable pieces of eastern philosophy that seem contradictory on the surface." It gave me a list of 20 and cited them. I selected 3 to use in my video.
2. This is already disclosed in the video itself, but I used ChatGPT to scour my thesis for weaknesses.
3. I used AI for some research during the meteorological section to make sure I was getting the basic facts correct.
4. I used AI for two of the three thumbnails for this video. YouTube allows you to test three thumbnails. I made one myself in photoshop and used AI for the other two.
5. AI was used to generate the title cards the divide the sections of the video and the accompanying music.
6. AI was used to create the song that plays at the end of the video, though the song was not created specifically for this video and the lyrics are my own.
All of the ideas and the specefic language used in this video, other than the parts where I am directly quoting ChatGPT's criticisms of my ideas, are my own. No AI was used in their creation.
