The Haunted Mansion is a dark ride that opened at Disneyland on August 9th, 1969, at Magic Kingdom on October 1st, 1971, and at Tokyo Disneyland on April 15th, 1983. Taking a gloomy Doom Buggy for an eerie tour through a haunted estate full of 999 happy haunts, the attraction is considered by many fans to be one of the most outstanding theme park rides ever created due to its atmosphere, story, score, audio-animatronics, and special effects.
