Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show was a stunt show performed at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in the Streets of America area. The show, which ran for under 40 minutes revolved around a series of energetic stunts featuring automobiles and included car-based action, pyrotechnics, jet ski chases, and physical stunt work. The cars were followed by cameras, and film, both shot during the show and pre-recorded, was shown to the audience on a billboard television screen. The show closed on April 2nd, 2016 in order to make room for the construction of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. In this video we take a look at the history of the show, the changes that have taken place at Disney’s Hollywood Studios since the park first opened, and why the show was closed.
