Joined by Dr Byron Waldron we talk about and rank the emperors of the tetrarchy from Diocletian to Constantine I. This part focuses on the emperor Maximian.

Byron Waldron is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Cyprus. Here he conducts research for the project ‘Group Minds in Ancient Narrative’, which is funded by the European Research Council. He is the author of Dynastic Politics in the Age of Diocletian, AD 284-311 (2022), and has written articles on Latin literature, Roman history and Persian history for edited volumes and journals. He has also written documentaries for HistoryMarche, including popular series on Aurelian and the Third Samnite War.
