I stopped by the Tesla Diner in West Hollywood — the 80‑stall Tesla V3.5 Supercharger that Tesla says does ~1,600 charges a day (about 20 sessions per stall). I walk the whole site, talk through the power gear (3750 kVA transformers, a 5,000 A 480/277 switchboard, 20 of Tesla’s 387 kVA ≈360 kW cabinets), and show why this place is the busiest fast‑charging site I’ve ever seen.
You’ll see the massive solar canopies, six Starlinks, huge TV screens, and how the site splits power between 480/277 and 208/120 for the diner. I point out a coned‑off stall (5D), the rows of cabinets, and a 2,000 A 120/208 section. I also go inside — upstairs merch, Optimus/Bumblebee decor, Jetsons/Flinstones art — and there are way more Cybertrucks here than I expected (I was driving a Cybertruck that day). Vehicles ranged from Model Y to Escalade IQ, a CH‑R, and more.
