"The Tempest" is both William Shakespeare's shortest play, as well as the most intriguing. Even if we put aside some of its flaws, it is quite different from Shakespeare's other works, with Prospero arguably his richest and most "human" creation. In this video, authors and critics Alex Sheremet and Keith Jackewicz discuss the context of Shakespeare's time and some of the play's philosophical thrusts.
