Peter Popoff was just your typical tv minister in the 1980s. Telling people he could heal them with some sort of magic powers, claiming to be linked to the divine, and oh yeah, raking in millions of dollars in the process. But when he was unceremoniously ousted for being a cheat in 1986 all hope seemed lost. That is, until the 2000s when he staged a comeback and returned bigger and worse than ever. Now, he’s devised a special scheme: selling “miracle water” to save you from debt. Because that doesn’t sound fake at all.
