This is a video I've been meaning to make for a while as I've had plenty of questions over the past few months - and that is all about how I see the court card ranks and their elemental associations or correspondences. My understandings differ from the two main schools of thought I see in the community, so I thought I'd share a bit about why I've come to associate the elements and the courts the way I have.

Basically, I see it as follows:
Pages = Air
Knights = Fire
Queens = Water
Kings = Earth
