I have a few Tandy/Radio Shack computers: Three of them are 1400 series computers: one LT, one FD, and one HD. I am hoping to make at least one working computer (if not two) out of them.

Spoiler alert: I either forgot or didn't realize that the LT is different from the FD and HD models.

All of my 1400s, or at least their power supplies, need to be recapped. It does not appear as if anyone has a capacitor list or kits for any of them, so I'm going to have to try to do that tonight. We'll start with the LT because it has a stripped screw that has prevented me from opening it up for inspection.

Will I get the stripped screw out without damaging plastic? Will I find actively-leaking electrolyte? Will I lament the broken case of some of my 1400s? You'll have to watch to find out!
