A beautiful group of giraffes gathered at the Namib Desert waterhole today. 🦒

While one giraffe carefully lowered its long neck for a drink, the others remained standing tall and alert. Drinking can place a giraffe in a vulnerable position, so having other members of the group nearby provides extra awareness and reassurance.

Seeing so many giraffes together against the wide Namibian landscape made this a truly beautiful and peaceful encounter. These are the moments that make watching NamibiaCam so special.
