The shortest and the tallest player in the NBA have been a real spectacle in preseason, and that was the case last night as well.
Yuki Kawamura, at only 5 foot 8 is penetrating the defense and throwing all kinds of crazy passes.
5 assists in only 17 minutes is great, and while he probably will not get much playing time during the season, Yuki is really showing his passing skills and incredible court vision.
And look at his quickness, snaking through the defense before landing the pass on target.
As a 5 '5'’ lilliputian myself, I am definitely rooting for Yuki.
And on the opposite end of the spectrum, we got the 7 ‘ 4’’ giant rookie Zach Edey, who’s been absolutely automatic with his hook shot, and it totally makes sense, since no defender can get to this shot to contest it.
Last night Marcus Smart gave him a mini tutorial on his post game, and Edey put that to work right away.
23 points and 9 rebounds on 10 of 15 from the field, I am very curious to see how he looks the regular season but I bet that he would make things easier for Ja Morant
Things are definitely not gonna get easier for Washington however, if last night is any indication of their upcoming season.
This was an absolute circus, but what in the world is going on with Kyle Kyzma?!
Just last game he had 4 horrific misses, getting nothing but air despite firing away with the utmost confidence. This is hilarious, he even airballed a free throw as well.
Maaan it’s gonna be tough for Wizards fans this year.
Funny thing is that Nets fans are getting their hopes up watching Ben Simmons have a decent game of 11 points and 5 rebounds. This is without a doubt the last chance for Simmons to show that he can still play and stay healthy first of all, tho I gotta admit, I gave up hope on that a long time ago.
Speaking of staying healthy, this was scary…
Thankfully for Sixers fans, this was categorized as a hyperextension and PG should be back in a week.
Moving on to something a bit more positive tho, I like how Damian Lillard looks on the court.
After dealing with various injuries and looking sluggish at times last season, Dame seems springy, quick and extremely light on his feet.
These shots feel easy and smooth, as did his 20 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists in 27 minutes against Chicago.
And it was a similar story with Giannis as well with his 24 points 10 rebounds and 4 assists.
Giannis brought the intensity in this game, and even went a little physical on them.
This is similar to yesterday’s video where we saw some bad blood between the Knicks and Minnesota even in a preseason game. You gotta check out what happened right here. Talk to you in the next one. Peace out.
