This is my latest song. I've actually been working on this one for nearly over a year, and it's gone through so many different changes since I started. I'm not sure this is exactly how I thought it would turn out, but it's good to be able to call this one finished. I really hope you all enjoy it!
For this track, I challenged myself to use (nearly) every piece of music gear I own. I've included a full list of everything, as well as what it was used for, at the bottom of this description.

GEAR AND HOW IT WAS USED:
Ableton: Aside from the guitars and some of the background textures, everything else was made using stock Ableton plugins and Ableton Packs.
Synthstrom Deluge: I recorded several audio tracks of my guitar directly into the deluge and applied some light filtering. This got sent through the ZOIA.
Empress Effects ZOIA: Takes the audio from the deluge and runs it through 4 loopers. Each looper is randomly triggered by 4 LFO's, which play them at different octaves and sometimes in reverse. This is making some of the background texture you hear at the beginning and end of the track.
Novation Launchkey Mini: Used to play things like the glockenspeil and strings in Ableton.
Ableton Push 2: Used to play and control all other midi tracks (except for the drums). This includes 2 bass drones, the main synth, 2 french horns, english horn, trumpet, and cello.
Fender Squier Telecaster: Used for all guitar parts.
Casio CPS-7: Used as a midi controller for the upright piano.
Legacy DD505: Electronic drum kit used to trigger midi drums in Ableton.
Shure SM58: Microphone used for vocals.
Here's a list of gear that didn't wind up getting used: P033 KO Pocket Operator, Zoom G2.1u and G1X pedals, and my other guitars.
