Hi,
Most of you who watch my videos know Tim Sway. I know that because he sent a lot of you my way either by his re-edit of my Bar Stool video, or from his shout outs on Reclaimed Audio Podcast. So as a small token of my appreciation for Tim and his work, I almost named this chair after him (haha). Well, it's not like that, the chair is not all re-claimed so I'll make another out of pallets or scrap wood and that will be "the True Sway". This is just a practice run mock up for the real deal! You can see all of Tim's outstanding work on his You Tube Channel, or check out his Website. One of my favourite Sway videos is the "Ballard of el Saguaro" plasma cut cactus lamps. Tim: Huge respect my friend!
This chair is heavy and not likely to blow away in a storm. I went through lots of 70's and 80's ballads, heaps of podcasts, a few F bombs and it was a thoroughly enjoyable job that I'll never do again (out of steel). I hope you enjoy the video and I hope you check out Tim's work. Send him a message, tell him Scott sent you and tell him I'll buy him a Whisky if I ever get back over his way.
