The Richard M. Krasno Distinguished Professorship at UNC-Chapel Hill presents: The Surge of the Far Right in Germany and Europe with Mariam Lau, Klaus-Dieter Frankenberger, and Jeffrey Rathke.

Mariam Lau is editor and political correspondent at the weekly newspaper Die Zeit in Hamburg. Klaus-Dieter Frankenberger is former foreign editor of Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ) Frankfurt. Jeffrey Rathke is President of the American-German Institute at Johns Hopkins University in Washington, DC.

Dr. Klaus Larres discusses with Lau, Frankenberger, and Rathke the causes of and possible solutions for the rise of the European far right.
