The very first song that SCHERRIE PAYNE - officially the third and final lead singer of THE SUPREMES ever recorded with the group at Motown. A remake of a song subtitled 'It's In His Kiss' which here have backing vocals by Birdsong and Wilson. Originally a hit in 1963 for Betty Everett - that too was a cover - the very first version was by Merry Clayton but it sank without a trace. You can clearly hear Scherrie's refreshing approach to this pop classic and Scherrie then went on to record many great songs - leading The Supremes into the disco era and Its Scherrie who's lead vocal gave The Supremes their last chart hit 'I'm Gonna Let My Heart Do The Walking' released in March 1976. Cher's version (recorded for her movie 'Mermaids' was also a big hit back in 1990.
