I was amazed to discover that the iconic Ocarina of Time title theme is actually the Warp Whistle melody from Super Mario Bros 3. I never noticed this hidden connection between the two games until I listened to them side by side. It blew my mind to find such a huge Mario secret hiding right at the start of Zelda.
