Welcome back! Today we’re discussing Sun Eater by Christopher Ruocchio. There’s six large books in this series, with the seventh and final book coming this November.
This is the question you’ve got to ask yourself today; is this series going to bad for me, or perfect for me? Cause the people who love Sun Eater love it a LOT. Yet other people read these books and are underwhelmed. Personally, I liked a lot of things in these books, but found other things really frustrating. So why is there a bit of a divide here?
Because Sun Eater is a strong flavour. Think of it like spicy food, which some will love and some will not enjoy.
That’s why I’m going to pitch this series objectively, spoiler free, listing all the strengths and weakness, to help you decide if this flavour suits you. I want the RIGHT people to find this series and love it, and I want others to know this isn’t right for them. Both options are fine.
