One of the biggest Old School MapleStory mysteries for me has always been the Hands stat. Like what does that stat even mean? And what on earth would it do? Does having more hands make me climb ladders and ropes faster? Does it increase attack speed? Does it make me better at using claws, daggers, bows, or throwing stars? Some rumors even said it was supposed to increase the success chance of scrolls, which would be absolutely massive if that was true. So I decided to go down this rabbit hole to figure out exactly what Hands actually did back in the day.
