On December 23, 1974, three girls go to the mall to buy Christmas gifts. They never come home. The car of the eldest of the three is found in the Sears parking lot. The next day a letter from the oldest, Mary Rachel Trlica arrives at her husband's house (she is a very young married girl, just 17( stating the three of them just had to get away and were going to Houston for the week. Now, mind you, the youngest of the trio was nine-years-old.
The girls were heard of again.
