I do it in the hope of providing a good listening experience, not because I’m “full of myself”. The stories I read are often quite old. Language changes, so do ideas. Try and see the humanity in them rather than mining them for perceived offences. That way unhappiness lies. Sometimes a dog dies (not in this story!) but no real dogs have ever been harmed in the creation of this podcast…to my knowledge.
