Seven years ago, a strayed bullet hit Estevão Carvalho Lopes in the back. After he’d become paraplegic, he had to make a decision: Making something out of this new situation, or being angry about it for the rest of his life? Estevão chose the former and has become a Paralympic athlete. He also discovered his mission to motivate disabled people to do sports. Estevão has been on the FES bike since 2016 and has already participated in the last CYBATHLON. His wish is to be able to ride the bike in the future without help from others. #cybathlon2020globaledition
