This video is an attempt to cover the history of a single Manuscript. The Beowulf Text found in the Nowell Codex or the Cotton Vitellius MS A XV. I give a brief introduction to the text itself and its impact on the Fantasy genre, and then I discuss everything we can possibly know about it including its most recent digitization project and how much further we can take it for study and research.

As mentioned, all images of manuscript are copyright of The British Library and the Digital project of the University of Kentucky.
