Central Park is home to dozens of statues and monuments throughout its 843 acres, and each one had its own unique journey to the Park! This year, we’re examining a few lesser-known artworks in a new series: The Story Behind the Statue.
Our first highlight is King Jagiello, located on the east side of the Park at 79th Street overlooking Turtle Pond.
