The JD-XA has been front and center on my channel for quite a while. But I've never really said much about it.

I think it's about time that happened.

Overall the JD-XA is not a bad synth by any means. It has lots of parts, lots of voices, a lot of creative tools. Per part sequencing, CV/MIDI out, per part FX. There's a lot to like. But the one thing that really kills it all for me is the workflow and the lack of creative routing.
