A new Beaconsfield road bridge has been named McKenna Drive to honour local identity Carmel McKenna, well known for her decades of service to the Beaconsfield community.

The new road bridge connects Beaconsfield Avenue to Kenilworth Avenue over the rail line, with Station Street level crossing now gone for good.
