The duality of the crusaders in DIO's Mansion. Yes Jotaro and the gang were also risking their lives but Polnareff really has these sidequests that are probably even more dangerous and suffering than the actual JoJos. Pretty sad how they didn't have the chance to say goodbye to each other too, but at least DIO is still defeated and everybody went on with their lives (until Part 5).
