The Squid House, supposed to be the NA Open, was formed after Nintendo denied streaming rights for the top 4 of the tournament. Although it wasn't explicitly stated, it's assumed this is because of the many names supporting Melee in the top 4. Because of this, the top 4 teams dropped out and joined The Squid House which had a community prize pot that capped at 25K.
