Netflix is back at it again. serving up a missed opportunity and adding to the pile of slop they are already flooding their servers with. The Whisper man stars Robert De Niro, Michelle Monaghan and Adam Scott. It is a "dark" murder mystery about Kidnpped kids, a wasted cop career, generational trauma and alcoholism. Unfortunately all these themes have to fight for screen time which leaves little room for any of them to develop properly and it all becomes a borig, formulaic cop thriller that will probably please no one. We give you a detailed movie analysis of this missed opportunity to make something like True detective, but instead we get Content slop. The whisper man is less like True detective and more like... Bored detective. Instead of going to see the new, highly praised indie movie from Director andrew Patterson, we stayed home and watched... The Whisper man. What have I become, my sweetest friend? Everyone I know, goes away in the end.
