A powerful live conversation with Amazon Rainforest scientist, National Geographic Explorer, and award-winning artist and storyteller, Dr Rosa Vásquez Espinoza.
Raised in Peru with the Amazon as her backyard, Rosa grew up learning from her grandmother, a traditional healer whose natural pharmacy was filled with forest remedies and ancestral knowledge. Today, Rosa continues that legacy, blending Indigenous wisdom with cutting-edge research on the Boiling River, stingless bees, bioluminescent fungi and extreme ecosystems.
In this event, we explore the vital connections between science, art, biodiversity, and reverence for Nature. Rosa’s work helps shape conservation policy, amplify Indigenous leadership, and inspire a more loving and reciprocal relationship with the natural world.
