The entire speedrunning community is so cool, think of how each of those mario's in this video is a real person with thousands, or tens of thousands of attempts at playing this game. The time invested, the knowledge, the community! We developed this video to highlight all of them and show Every Sub-Five runner in SMB1. There is so much to see on every frame, you might need to slow it down :-) Love to the entire speedrunning community!
And yes, I appreciate that "The Speedrunning Community" extends far beyond SMB1 any% to all kinds of different games and categories - I'd love to see this tech expanded to other games, categories, and communities.

Ive been embarking on a journey to combine multiple speedruns of the original 1985 NES Super Mario Bros. at once into a real RACE. This video combines two world records from Miniland and Niftski into one video.
Ive had to use a lot of machine learning, image processing, and development to get to this point. Other videos on my channel give some details on how it was made. My end goal is to create a platform for LIVE Super Mario Bros. speedrunning races where you dont have to look at 4 screens at the same time!
